Conventional standard axle dampers on the market are designed for too high a weight range (eg 0 to 4.0 t). Optimum damping is only provided for medium trailers (2.0 t).

In the lower weight range there is overdamping. The effect is the jumps and jerks of the trailer. In the upper weight range it was underdamped. The result: a barely perceptible improvement in driving safety.

- AL-KO Octagon axle shocks, on the other hand, are specially tuned for a certain weight range.

- In this way, it optimally improves the driving characteristics of the trailer.

Easy installation:

- Rubber-mounted joint connection eyes allow a low-tension, low-lock installation system with a tilt of up to 5 °.

- Unlike commercially available axle shocks, the screws of the AL-KO Octagon axle shocks are firmly integrated into the shock eye and are therefore part of the scope of delivery of a jefen shock absorber.
